A Letter From Afterlife

(1967)

by Pat Wong

Dear Classmates,

I returned from the afterlife last night--only to kiss my wife and our little children good bye.

I am satisfied. Would like to see you all before I go again, but I simply can't.

Shouldn't envisage Death with terror. Everyone that come here knows. Only little pain and all is over. Laugh at Death wherever he goes; for Death we dread just because we don't know it. And I am happy to reveal the mystery. Hope Death will baffle you no more.

I would never shed a tear over any of you again.

Come on--follow my footsteps, I have found the way !

With you always,

Alan Cheung
