" Playing by heart"---it is a soapy movie which Eber and Siskel gave two thumbs down. This movie goer thinks it is okay to see. It has an interesting story, a few hot babes and Sean Cornery. It is a lot better than watching the senate debate on TV.

'varsity blues"---you may well ask " how low can you get?" by going to see this movie made for teenagers about teenagers. Well, I am a teenager or will be one when August comes in Toronto. Time stands still when the lighters are together. This movie is about a small town in Texas, called West Canaan, where there are lots of country roads, pickup trucks, shot guns, beer drinking, cute looking girls and football, high school football, that is, provides the meaning of life for people in that little town. The story is simple, the actors are all unknown except Jon Voight, the budget is about 1/1E4 or less than that of a C or D movie. This movie goer thinks it is better than a lot of other movies I have seen recently. It is nice to be a teenager again.
