It amazes me how diversified the Lighters are. I didn't know that we have a
classmate who's a Professor of History. James T. Koo's precis on Tibet from
the long dissertation is well done with loads of facts. I have a feeling that the Prof must be an Anglophile educated in Oxbridge, or at least
London, Manchester, Birmingham,...etc. Despite James' hard work, I still believe my primary school's history teacher that Tibet was, is, and shall be
part of China (either PRC or Republic of China). Another observation comes
from Ivan Choi's Superman. How come Wonder Woman and Superman cannot see through Invisible Man? Like us mortals. From my son's toys (action figures), I got the impression that Invisible Man is see-through, or
transparent. I cited the above two incidents to show that I'm practicing let live, and am not like Dennis thinks that we are all old farts that are
so inflexible and want to pick bones out of hard-boiled eggs. Examples for
the live part, S.S.'s movie and CD recommendations are considered by me much better than the ones on TV. I remembered hearing JN singing "Amazing
Grace" on Channel 28. It rivals Judy Collins' years ago. In short, we are
lucky that the Lighters are still full of life and not quite ready for retirement homes yet!
