Mr. Mok King passed away

Josh Hung

Mr. Mok King passed away last week in March. He was 101 and he had his birthday in January. It seems that it was not too long ago we celebrated his 100 birthday. Verona and I went to his funeral last Saturday on April 1st. It was quite a good service, very simple and dignified. He has about seven or eight grand children out of his own four, and they are in their thirties. They stood in front friends and relatives and told stories about what they remembered him for, like candies, big squeeze on their faces on different occasion, and so forth. It was joy and sadness. I was quite moved. Mr. Mok had lived a
long and good life.

Well, he was quite a leader for Pui Ching Alumni. He was the one established East Coast Pui Ching alumni association which has provided a social net for all of us.

I will scan in his biography for all of us.
