 Rules of Engagement

We found that the plot of Rules of Engagement very simple and the outcome very obvious. To make it a real movie, they must make the courtroom scene look like a long shot that the defendant (Samuel L. Jackson) would not win the case. The defendant, a Marine colonel, but really a hero was court martial for murdering civilians in Yemen after really some civilians and snipers fired shots first at the U.S. embassy. Tommy Lee Jones is his lawyer.

However, through the discussion of our family, we found some simple evidence, which we overlooked at the theatre that may help the defense win. For example, the photos showed more than 300 bullet holes on the embassy front wall. The shots from the snipers shouldn't cause so many bullet holes, only untrained people with guns would spray the wall aimlessly. There are other evidence that helped the defense, but we'll leave it up to you to find out.

Overall, it's an okay movie. Tommy Lee Jones did not act the best. A Few Good Men is better than this.
