May's Far East Visit

We are back, I had a fun filled three weeks, unfortunately I have to come back to reality, that hurts. Japan was good, the Japanese treated me very nicely, but three whole days with my boss is more than enough. (thank goodness, not the whole trip). I did get to go to Nagano to visit the Winter Olympic sites, it's a very nice town much bigger than I expected. I also get to dip in the hot springs couple times and almost got cooked each time. We had dinner with some of our classmates in HK, the seafood there is still the best I have ever had, Captain Ip called the crack of dawn the morning after we arrived, he took us to breakfast, tour Pui Ching, brought back a lot of fond memories, he also help us to locate our old residents. (Shirley's still there, mine is gone and rebuilt). We also got to visit his condo, high on the hill, extremely nice and of course he took us to the best places to eat, had a great time. Ivan met us at the airport in Bangkok, he took good care of us the first few days, we were on our own the rest of the time. Thailand has the prettiest temples I have ever seen, touring the river and see how people along the river live is very interesting. I made Shirley ate Thai food everyday, it's hot, hot, hot, my mouth was burning the whole time we were there. We also tried some of their exotic fruits, some of them are quite strange. Ivan treated us to a whole body massage, that's  something I have never done before and now I know why people like that so much. So, that's my travelog, Wu Yin, Peter said the main reason he won't go to the cruise is because Ada gets seasick, we strongly urge Ada to overcome this handicap and join us cruise to the Greek Islands and as I said to them, "even WU Yin is going". May be you should try to convince him also.
