2002 Reunion 

Dear Lighters,

Those Lighters who were at the Gala Dinner of the 40th Lighters Reunion on August 7, 1999 in Toronto, Canada may recall that our class President announced that the next Reunion would be held in Hong Kong sometime between November and December 2002. The Lighters in Hong Kong welcome the opportunity to organize the said Reunion. 
Fourteen months from the 40th Lighters Reunion have passed and we, the 2002 Reunion Committee members, after several meetings with the Lighters in Hong Kong, have prepared TWO SETS of STARTING DATES and the ITINERARY of our upcoming Reunion:-

STARTING DATE
Set (A) November 25, 2002
Set (B) December 09, 2002

ITINERARY ( Four Parts )
Part 1. Day 1 to Day 4 Tour to "Chung San" and
Guangzhou,
Mainland China
Part 2. Day 5 to Day 6 Tours in Hong Kong
Part 3. Day 7 Reunion Dinner
Part 4. Day 8 to Day 14 Tour to Cameron 
Highland of Malaysia

All Lighters who wish to participate in the 2002 Lighters Reunion in Hong Kong are welcome to choose the Starting Date, that is either Set (A) or Set (B) of the Four Parts of the Itinerary as mentioned above. However, if you could not join Part 1. of the Itinerary, you may choose to join any other Part or Parts of the Itinerary.

We shall collect the Staring Date you choose and decide on the Date selected by the majority as the Starting Date of our Itinerary. Please inform us your choice to one of the following HK Lighters not later than Thursday, NOVEMBER 30, 2000. Those who communicate with e-mail may reply to S.S.Lau ( lau@ece.ucsd.edu ) for subsequent forwarding to the HK Reunion Committee.
