Comment to Puzzle

Dear Lighters:
I read Alec Li's (C 6 , Li Yuen-Fun) input for our site (Puzzle From Microsoft) with great interest. In one of the gathering for southern California lighters some time ago, the same puzzle was posted by Walter Tsui ( B11, Tsui Yen-Woo) for the lighters to solve. Eugene Lu (D 26, Lu Yuen-cheun) solved the puzzle in, perhaps, 30 to 40 seconds. The challenge now is to beat that time. I think if one of us can beat that time, there is chance that Eugene might hire the person into his Law firm---nick name "L.A.Law".

Of course, there are those of us, such as myself, who are still trying to figure out what the puzzle is, let alone how to solve it. I would like to urge Alec to post the solution on the web in one month. Hope Alec would agree.---SSL
