Movie rating is a highly subjective matter. It depends on one's 
liking of a particular actor(s), subject matter, plots, directors and other parameters.

For calibration purposes, here is my way of thinking of the following movies that I pick off the top of my head;

" From here to eternity" ---*****

" The year of living dangerously" --- ****
" LA confidential" --- ****
" Dragon gate hotel ( in Chinese) " --- ****

" Traffic" --- ***
" Gladiator" --- ***
" Enemy at the gates" --- ***

" Meet the parents" --- 0 (yes, zero).
