April Love

I was so touched by the posting of the April Love sound track that I have to write and compliment the web master for not only working overtime regardless of day of week, but the resourcefulness of finding and posting of this old Pat Boone pop of the 50's. It took me a couple second to figure out the connection between the song and the subject matter.

Ma Chun Oi was one of the "man joe" student and I have been pretty much a "lei joe" kid in Class C when I was with the Lighters. Her name ringed a bell since I also know many of her classmates but I don't believe I know her personally. It is sad to see our peers started to leave us, but at our age, we should not be surprised but be prepared for such happening. 

Most of all, its the care and spirit of the Lighters for each other that are inspiring. Earlier this year, we lost Peter's wife Connie who has a sister who married to one of our Class of 1960 classmate. Now we lost April Love. Even I don't know her at all, but listening to this oldie brought tears to my eyes.
