Dear Friends and Family:

I have composed some trivial statistics on Kristine and Jonathan tonight. Between them, they have accomplished a lot of Firsts! They are the first of the Macalalad and the Wong children to have a wedding ceremony. Kristine is the first born in her family while Jonathan is the youngest in his. What is the significance of all these you may ask? We don’t know yet, but we will surely keep an eye on them!

Jonathan is upholding a dubious tradition of the Wong family tonight. This tradition, though it is not widely known, has now spanned two generations. That is: in spite of being the youngest of the three brothers, he managed to be the first to go steady and have a wedding ceremony with his first love. Uncle C, my youngest brother, can attest to that. Uncle C, please stand up and be recognized as the one who started this trend.

Bonnie and I have three sons. Jonathan is the youngest, as you must know by now. We are very happy tonight because we have finally gained a daughter whom we always wanted but never had!

We offer a congratulatory toast to the fairytale-like couple -- May they live happily ever after!

p.s. We were honored to have Shirley Lam Lee and her husband, Ernest, representing the Lighters to share our happiness in this special occasion.
