Yesterday I asked a very close friend who is a general manager of a world-class bank this question " My son spends US dollars in the next four years, should I keep US dollar or HK dollars ?". The answer was "although the HK government told us to speak positively on KEEPING THE PACK ( 1 USD= 7.78 HKD) to the public, but as a good friend, my suggestion to you is --- if I were you, I would convert half of my cash into US dollars." As a father of a student going to school in the US, I am going to have to think hard before Monday comes.
