(1) City of Angels---This movie is not in the same class as " Sleepless in Seattle". Those who like Meg Ryan should see this before she loses all her cute looks. She is probably a better actress than Sandra Dee was, who also depended a lot on her cute looks. Only time can tell if Ryan would survive the test of time. In this connection, Sigouney Weaver seemingly has survived.

(2) "Suicide Kings"---I slept through the first half, and got really interested in the second half. In the end, it is just a so-so movie.

(3) "The Big Hit"---The movie is highly silly and, perhaps, entertaining. Co-produced by John Woo, directed by Che-Kirt Wong, both from Hong Kong. Most of us probably have seen Woo's movies, but this movie by Wong has a similar amount of "action".

(4) "Spanish Prisoner"---By far the most intriguing and interesting movie I have
seen for a long time. The title is a name of a classic con game, and now you know what this movie is all about---a con game. Nothing is what it seems to be on the surface, and soon or later even the viewer caught on. In spite of that, it is still very absorbing. I learned something here---the victims of con games are general nice guys or do gooders. Those who have an obvious weakness or yearning---money, power or women are usually the easy targets. Those who think they know it all, or who think they do not have a weakness are the easiest target of all.
